EDWARD JOHN WISNIEWSKI

Dr. Edward “Ed” Wisniewski, 56, passed away October 9, 2015. He was born August 5, 1959, in Berea, Ohio. Dr. Wisniewski was a professor of Psychology at UNC-Greensboro. Survived by his very beloved wife, Jing Wu. Also survived by his parents Janet and the late Richard; siblings, James (Debra), Peter (Susan), Judith (Kevin), Marisa (Mark) and Tami (Paul); and twenty nieces and nephews. Ed is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, many, many cousins, one great niece and one great nephew. Ed was pre-deceased by his two dogs Zach and Jake. Ed graduated from Good Counsel High School and Georgetown University and recieved his PhD from Brown University. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, October 15, at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
