On Wednesday, May 5, 2010 of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Silver Spring, MD, leaves behind a loving family of daughters, Linda Sowden of Silver Spring, MD, Beverly Fairchild (and husband, John) of Harpers Ferry, MD, Sherri Cissel (and husband, AI) of Potomac, MD; beloved grandmother of Tanya Sowden of Santa Monica, CA, Kristy Sowden of Rockville, MD, Jamey Fairchild of Charleston, SC, Kelli Cissel, Kimberly Cissel and Kyle Cissel of Potomac MD. Also survived by James L. Whitehead of Silver Spring, MD. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking) on Wednesday May 12, 3 to 5 p.m. Interment private.
