CATHERINE WHITE WEST

Catherine White West, age 82, passed away on June 3, 2012, in Altamonte Springs, FL. She is survived by her beloved children, Franklin Sears, Robert West, Alicie Simpson Moore (Jon) and Kealey West (Vicki). Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Scott, Laura, Maggie and Katie Simpson, Travis, Stephen, Logan and Scout West, Catherine and Connor Moore, and George Howe. She is survived by siblings, Dorothy White, Paul White, Bernard White, Thomas White, Marie Helm, Sara Ruschaupt and Michael White; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Helen White, brothers William White, Robert White, Theodore White, James White, John White, Francis White; sisters Ellen Handley, Mary Lockman, Teresa Dobson and Alice Sweadner; and her son-in-law, David T. Simpson. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, June 15 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., where rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, June 16, at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
