On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of McKeesport, PA. Beloved wife of the late Eugene J. “Chick” Wertz; mother of Jean W. Davis (William), Carol W. Abbruzzese (Mark) and the late Christine A. Wertz; grandmother of Stephanie Cardella (J.T.), William Davis III, Allison Dooley (Daniel) and Amy Abbruzzese. Also survived by two great grandchildren, John Christopher Cardella and Nora Elizabeth Dooley and loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Sunday, September 24, from 7:30 to 9 PM, where Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, North Versailles, PA.
