Ruth Bittinger Weimer (Age 87)

On Friday, January 9, 2015, of Burtonsville, MD, formerly of Oakland, MD.  Beloved wife of the late Veryl Eugene Weimer;  loving mother of  Veryl Edward Weimer, the late John Frederick Weimer, Jeffrey Harland Weimer, Betty Suzanne Martin and the late Daniel Gower Weimer;  sister of  Betty Porter.  Also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  A Memorial Service will be held at  Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 1 p.m.    Graveside Service and interment at Oakland Cemetery, High Street, Oakland, MD on Saturday, January 17 at 1 p.m.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, National Capital Area Chapter, 3701 Pender Dr., Suite 400, Fairfax, VA 22030.
