On Tuesday, May 5, 2009, Vera  Weaver, of Silver Spring, MD.  Beloved mother of Janet and John of Silver Spring, James of Ijamsville and Betty of Gainesville, FL;  grandmother of Ryan, Tara, Kristen and Michael.  Also survived by daughter-in-law, Cathy; sister, Marian Barber of Burtonsville and niece, Ellen Thompson of Hampstead.  Relatives and friends may call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, MD, Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m., where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m.   Funeral Service at St. Mark Orthodox Church, 7124 River Road, Bethesda, MD, 20817 on  Friday, May  8, at 10 a.m.  Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Home Care & Hospice 11800 Tech Road, Suite 240 Silver Spring, MD 20904 or to St. Mark Building Fund.
