On Thursday, January 24, 2013, George C. Y. Wang, professor emeritus of George Washington University, age 85, of Silver Spring, MD of Alzheimer’s disease. He is survived by his brother, John and sister-in-law, Rosa Jenny of Beltsville, MD; sister, Mary Hsieh of Southport, CT; sister-in-law, Betty of Potomac, MD; seven nephews and nieces; 14 grand- nephews and nieces. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Gannon University, Erie, PA (www.gannon.edu)
