GERALDINE JOY WALSH

On Monday, April 9, 2012 at age 80 peacefully passed away. She was surrounded by her children, James William Walsh, Kathleen Maria Newton, Carolyn Joy Walsh and Mary Walsh Edwards. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Maria Reeder. Survived by sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Rod Faller; beloved grandchildren, Kimberly Evans, Stefan Walsh, Deborah Vandevort, Jennifer Walsh, Matthew Edwards, Nicholas Edwards and great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Callum Evans and Shane Vandevort. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, 7 to 9 p.m. and Luther Rice Memorial Baptist Church, 801 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD on Thursday, April 12 from 3 to 4 p.m. where service will follow at 4 p.m. Interment private.
