Fr. AUSTIN WALSH, S.T.

On Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at Sacred Heart Home in Hyattsville, MD. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1938 to the late Henry and Joan Morrissey Walsh, he was ordained a Catholic priest in 1965. Beloved brother of Arlene (Patrick) Mooney and the late Henry Walsh, Joan Dellinger and Rita Walsh. Also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews and his confreres, the priests and Brothers of the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity. Relatives and friends may call at the Father Judge Missionary Cenacle, 1733 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in the Chapel of St. Luke Institute, 8901 New Hampshire Avenue (at Metzerott Road), Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, August 9, at 11 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, AL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, 1733 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD 20783.
