Beloved husband of Jean Von Der Pool;  father of Beverly Von Der Pool, Brianna Clark-Darby, Maryam Amatullah, Robin Von Der Pool, and the late Carl S. Von Der Pool, Jr. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
