Beloved husband of Paula Valdez; father of Elliot Valdez and Emily Lemon; step-father of Ryan and Alex Turano; grandfather of Conner Lemon and Cameron Valdez; son of the late Evaristo and Felipa Valdez; son-in-law of Umberto and Tina Paladlni; brother of Benny, Reuben and Evaristo Valdez, Juana Flores, Chava Chavez, Frances Watson and the late Tony Valdez. Also survived by a host of family members and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, March 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
