Beloved husband for 57 years of Hariklia Tzavelis; father of Helen Granito (Francis) of Crofton, MD and the late Basil Tzavelis; grandfather of Hannah and Francis III. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, September 9, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., with prayers at 7:15 p.m.. Funeral Service at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church at St. Andrew’s, 15100 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church-Building Fund, 701 Norwood Rd., Silver Spring, MD 20905.
