On Tuesday, August 18, 2009 of Suitland, MD. Beloved wife of the late Charles U. Tretler, Sr.; mother of Jane E. Charters, Charles U. “Bucky” Tretler, Jr. (Deborah) and Robert “Bobby” Tretler (Jean); sister of John Layman Lucas. Also survived by five grandchildren, Jessica, Andy, Jon, C J and Juliet; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Olivia; other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 5416 Henderson Way, Camp Springs, MD 20746 on Monday, August 24 from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Philip the Apostle Church and or School.
