On Monday, November 23, 2009, of Berlin, MD and formerly of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Margaret A. Thomas; father of Arlene (Bill) Bragg and Maureen Ross; grandfather of Kellie Sellner, Shannon DiPretoro, Heather Murphy, Nicole Ross and Margaux Ross; brother of Esther Gifford, Joyce Ground, Frank Thomas and the late Elizabeth Whalen; also survived by 5 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, November 30, from 10 to 11 a.m., where service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
