Tappan; father of Tony (Laura)Tappan andTami (Chris) Damiano; grandfather of Allison, Sarah and Tess Tappan, Dante Damiano; brother of Ron and David Tappan, Linda Whittle, Peggy Anunziatta, Chris Santamaria and Ginny DeRusso.  Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, 7-9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, Norbeck & Muncaster Mill Roads, Rockville, MD, on  Saturday, June 13, at 1:00 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
