JOSEPH EDWARD TALBOT, JR.

On Saturday, January 23, 2010, of Rockville, MD. A retired economist for the Departmant of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy. Beloved father of Susan Shanahan, Kathleen Kilmore, and the late Joseph Talbot III; grandfather of Hunter, Hayley, Brendan, Jack, Jason, Patrick, and Sean; brother of Lucille McGarry and Grace Bryn. Also survived by his companion Judy Satoa Chen; friend and former wife Sherry Wilbert; and seven nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass at Holy Cross Church, 4900 Strathmore Ave., Garrett Park, MD on Saturday, January 30, at 1 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery General Hospital, Addiction and Mental Health Center, 18101 Prince Phillip Drive, Olney, MD 20832 or American Cancer Society, Montgomery County Unit, 11331 Amherst Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20902.
