EDITH MAE STEWART (Age 85)

On Friday, September 14, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Donald A. Stewart; mother of Donald W. “Wayne”, Claudia J., Daniel P. and Nancy K. “Katie”. Also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Edith was a crossing guard for the Montgomery County Police Department for over 20 years. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, September 18, from 10:30 to 11 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org, or to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, or to American Federation for the Blind, www.afb.org.
