 DR. GEORGE ALBERT STEVENS

 On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Margaret McKee Stevens; father of Irene and Mary Ellen (Timothy) Stevens; grandfather of Evan and Ryan. He was preceded in death by four siblings. Dr. Stevens was a Professor Emeritus with The Department of Agriculture Economics at the University of MD College Park. He was a WW II veteran who served in the US Army and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the European Theatre Ribbon with five Battle Stars for campaigns throughout Europe where he served as a Tank Destroyer Unit Comdr. Graveside service and inurnment Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date.
