On Monday, November 7, 2011, of Rockville, MD. Beloved wife of the late James S. Stanton, M.D.; mother of Katherine Roddy, James Stanton, Jr., Marie Cardany, Patrick Stanton, John Stanton, Sarah Rasmussen, David Stanton, Mary Margaret Barry, Paul Stanton, and the late Michael Stanton, M.D. and Mary Elizabeth Walsh; mother-in-law of Paul Roddy, Anna Stanton, Richard Cardany, Jeannette Stanton, James Walsh, Kathleen Stanton, John Rasmussen, Mary Stanton and the late Dennis Barry. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, Norbeck & Muncaster Mill Roads, Rockville, MD, on Monday, November 14, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
