Beloved husband of Gay Smith; father of Robin Smith and Kelly Smith; grandfather of Bradley, Max and Marlee Smith; brother of Mary Rosenthal and Mildred “Buppy” Waller and the late William, Barbara and Edward Smith. Also survived by many loving family members and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral service will be held, on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
