On Thursday, June 21, 2012 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Dolores A. Smith of 59 years; father of Susan (Michael) Kowalski, Donna (Donald) Murray, James (Kim) Smith, Mary (David) Sherman, Bernard (Becky) Smith, Joseph Smith, Steven (Christine) Smith, Cecilia (David) Capacchione and Michael (Allison) Smith. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at St. Bernadette’s Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring on Monday, June 25 from 10 to 10:30 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
