On Wednesday, June 2, 2010, of Westover, MD. Beloved father of Jeanne L. Helke, Edward Lee Smith, Jr., Sharon L. Smith, and Jamie L. Smith; brother of Mary Rosenthal, Norman Smith, and Buppy Waller. Also survived by six grandchildren, Jeffrey Kaless, Erin L. Koch, Danielle P. Koch, Lainie N. Smith, Jameslee Logan Smith, and Adalynn Gladys Smith. Funeral Service at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 9 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
