Shoemaker and the late Betty Jane Witte Shoemaker; father of Denny and Michael (Jeanne) Shoemaker; grandfather of Sarah Shoemaker and Edward Lee Carey; brother of Philip (Priscilla) Shoemaker, Virginia Worsham and Thelma Murphy. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, June 4 from 10 to 11 a.m. with memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park.
