Frank Aloysius Shelton, Jr.

Frank Aloysius Shelton, beloved husband of Carol M. Shelton, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Frank is survived by his devoted wife of fifty-seven years, Carol. He is also survived by his children: Col. (Dr.) F. Joseph Shelton, wife Deborah and children Rebecca, Grace, Rose, Daniel, David, Ana, Olivia; Timothy J. Shelton, wife Eileen and children William, James, Thomas, Margaret; Mary T. Silva, husband Dr. Orlando Silva, and children Sophia and Samuél; and Patricia C. Grier, husband Ken, and daughter Elizabeth. He also survived eleven nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by son Paul, daughter Sharon, daughter-in-law Peggy, parents Frank and Maybelle Shelton, sister Dorothy McFarland, husband Joseph, sister Ruth Capicotto, husband Louis, and brother-in-law Alan Hengel, wife Delores. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd., West Silver Spring, MD 20901 (Valet Parking) on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Tuesday, February 28 at Holy Family Seminary, 401 Randolph Rd. Silver Spring, MD 20904. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
