On Friday, December 24, 2010 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Lois G. Serensits; father of Constance Lally (Paul), and Joseph S. “Jody” Serensits, Jr. (Marti); grandfather of Sarah, Gabriel, and Jessica; great grandfather of Calliope, Sappho, Fenric, Liam, and Daschel. Also survived by several brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection at Riderwood Chapel, 3160 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, December 30, at 1 p.m., with receiving of friends at 12:30 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice Society, 1355 Piccard Dr., Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850.
