ANNE KEOGH SENFTLE

A long-time resident of N. Chevy Chase, MD passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 60 years of Frank E. Senftle; loving mother of Mary (Frank) Somogyi, Anne-Francis Senftle, Joseph (Tina) Senftle, Frank P. Senftle, Theresa (James) Quine and Patrick (Catherine) Senftle; grandmother of Kenneth Somogyi, William Somogyi, Rebecca Logsdon, Matthew Senftle, Michael Quine, Patrick Quine, Timothy Quine, Kevin Quine, Melissa Senftle, Shannon Senftle, Thomas Senftle, Anita Senftle, Tess Senftle and Luke Senftle. Also survived by six great-grandchildren and 18 nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Clare (George) Larin, Patrick Keough, and Joan (Donald) Waters. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Redeemer Church, Summit Ave. and Cable Drive, Kensington, MD, on Wednesday, December 9, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In honor of Anne’s love of music, memorial contributions may be made to The Heights School Music Department, 10400 Seven Locks Road, Potomac, MD 20854.
