LCDR LLOYD T. SELJOS, USN (Ret.)

Of Wheaton, MD, on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, of Alzheimer’s disease. Born December 24, 1929, in Clifton, TX to Selmer T. and Anna Seljos. He was a graduate of the US Naval Academy (1952), US Naval Postgraduate School and John Hopkins University. After retiring from the Navy, he was employed for 23 years by RCA and Lockheed Martin. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Jane Seljos, and two sons, Charles (Amanda) of Wheaton, MD, and James (Sonia) of Bailey, CO. Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, October 11, from 11 to 12 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Interment Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 10 a.m. Please arrive at the Administration Building by 9:30 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fisher House Foundation, 1401 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852.
