“Biddy” (Age 88)

On Saturday, April 2, 2011, of Rockville, MD, died at home. Wilmer was born August 25, 1922 in Takoma Park, MD to Earl and Catherine Seek. He retired from the Justice Department in 1990, where he received numerous outstanding awards. He was predeceased by his wife, Alberta Elizabeth (Toepfer), daughter, Therese I. Yates and grandson, Jimmy Seek, Jr. Survived by his five children, James Richard, Stephen Lenwood, Rose Marie France, Christina Ann Rosenfeld and Mary Agnes Graziano. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Wilmer enjoyed many fishing trips with his deceased brother-in-law, Carl Toepfer, and his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity to all. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking) Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 18230 Barnesville Rd., Barnesville MD, 20838 on Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
