On Friday, July 13, 2018, of Kensington, MD.  Beloved husband for 41 years of the late Rita Miller Schulz; survived by his wife of 21 years Gertrude Pekar Schulz; his daughter Catherine Rita Schulz Bogus and son-in-law John D. Bogus; stepsons Jeffrey Pekar and Brian (Vickie) Pekar; grand-daughters Denise Bogus (Eric) Reiffenstein and Diana Bogus (Eugene) Madlangbayan; step-grandchildren Molly and Kyle Pekar; great-grandsons Matthew and Daniel Reiffenstein, and Luke Madlangbayan.  Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, July 19, from 7 to 9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, July 20, at 11 a.m.  Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
