JUANA D. SCHETTLER (Age 92)

On Thursday, July 31, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Born to the late Carl W. and Etna Sisk of Cynthiana, Indiana. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late William E. Schettler; mother of Karen Schettler, David Schettler (Cathy) and Janet Speak (Jay); grandmother of Julie Martinez (Alex), Jason McAndrews (Marie), Emily Quay (Colin), Adam McAndrews and the late Katherine Schettler; sister of Fred Sisk of Indianapolis, IN and the late Mary Gaither and Wayne Sisk. Also survived by three great-grandchildren. She worked for Montgomery County Public School System from 1962 to 1982. Following retirement, she and William travelled the United States, enjoyed community and church volunteer work, and spending time with the grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd. W. Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking), on Monday, August 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside Service and Interment on Tuesday, August 5 at 12 noon at Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to Hughes United Methodist Church, 10700 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD.
