On Sunday, May 6, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Schalk; mother of Richard (Nancy) Schalk, Rita Schalk, Ruth (Glenn) Beach, Ellen (John) Casale and Elaine (Riley) Mayhall; sister of Stanley and Henry Kolenda. Also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, Saturday, May 12, from 1 to 1:30 p.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Graveside Service and Interment with Military Honors at Quantico National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11 am.
