On Friday, August 30, 2013 of Kensington, MD. Beloved wife of the late William B. Schaeffer; mother of Catherine (Christopher) Grimes, Wayne, Kenneth (Elizabeth) and Bruce Schaeffer; grandmother of Christopher A. Grimes, Jessica A. Mongold, MacKenzie E. and Kasey M. Schaeffer; great-grandmother of Garrett Grimes, Kaleb Diaz, Jacob and Marcus Johnson; daughter of the late Joseph and E. Blanche (nee Linton) Chaney; sister of the late Emily I. Risely and E. Alene Fealy. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) on Wednesday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, September 5, 2013 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 10401 Armory Avenue, Kensington, MD 20895 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. with funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
