On Thursday, June 4, 2009, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Raquel Lim Salientes; son of Linda C. Salientes; father of Dennis (Isa) Gorres, Louis (Chiqui) Gorres, Mark Gorres, Ramon (Pam) Gorres, Emmanuel Gorres, Mitos (Galen) Beske, Ming Salientes (Gregor) Smith, Maria Elena Salientes (John) Cording, Sunny Salientes (Adam) Gilbert; brother of Jun, Margie, Patsy, Maritess, Nicholas, Enrique and Michael. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (valet parking), Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m. and Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Catholic Church, Arcola Ave. and Kemp Mill Rd., Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park.
