KATHLEEN ELIZABETH SAGER (Age 88)

Kathleen Elizabeth Sager Of Olney, MD formerly of Washington, DC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Milton A. Sager; loving mother of Kenneth (Ann) Sager, Teresa Sager, Marilla (Russ)Thompson and the late Timothy, James and Joseph Sager. Also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and nephew Douglas Alexandre. Preceded in death by her sister Vera Alexandre. Kathleen was born in Chester, PA and grew up in Washington, DC where she was a homemaker and later worked for the National Cancer Institute, She was an avid cyclist, gardener and loved hiking and backpacking. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, April 11, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 7500 Pearl Street, Bethesda, MD 20814 on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
