On Friday, April 16, 2010, of Kensington, MD. Beloved husband of Rachel Hayden Ryan; son of the late Michael J. and Mary C. Ryan; brother of the late John, Kevin, Donald and Mary Ryan; father of Hugh Frederick (Kathleen) Vivian, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth (Gary) Mathewson; grandfather of Hugh Frederick “Tripp” Vivian III, Melissa Vivian (William Reid) Mathewson, Amanda Catherine Mathewson, Michael Patrick Vivian, and Daniel Ryan Mathewson; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, April 21, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Redeemer Church, Summit Ave. & Cable Drive, Kensington, MD, on Thursday, April 22, at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary of the Mills Cemetery, Laurel, MD.
