GERALD EDWARD RYAN

On Monday, August 8, 2011, peacefully at his home in Bethesda, MD. Beloved husband of 58 years to Alice Ryan; father of Jackie (Tony) Molligo, Carol (Michael) Wade, Patricia Ryan, Tim Ryan, Nancie (Jose) Tassara, and Christopher (Courtney) Ryan. Also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Gerald was born in Evanston, Illinois in 1927 to Edward and Grace Koepke Ryan. He graduated Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 1950. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, from 2 to 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 9601 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD, on Friday, August 12, at 12:15 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
