On Tuesday, January 5, 2010, of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA. Beloved husband of the late Mary Eleanor Royal; devoted father of Stephanie L. (Maurice) Royal, Esq. and Stacey Y. (Chris) Royal, M.D.; loving grandfather of Maurice Royal Zigler, Madison Royal Davis and MacKenzie Royal Davis; brother of Alfred M. (Alice) Royal. Also survived by a host of extended family, including nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, Saturday, January 9, 2010, 12 to 1 p.m. where service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment private.
