On Sunday, July 1, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Gloria Rogers; father of John, Thomas (Jane), Catherine, Mary, and the late Carol Rogers; brother of William Rogers, Julia Vaught and the late Mary Surguy, Vincent Rogers and Anne Coffman. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) Tuesday, July 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernadette’s Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, July 5 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
