On Wednesday, November 23, 2016, of Washington, DC. Beloved brother of David A. Rodgers (Nancy); uncle of Dana Rodgers Crisp (Blake); great-uncle of Ryan Crisp. Also survived by many friends. Philip was a kind and gentle man who was an Air Force veteran, a graduate of American University and worked for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a Copy Editor. The IRS Historical Research Library is dedicated to him. A Memorial Service will be offered at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd. W., Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. Inurnment service will be at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to WETA or Washington Area Intergroup Association of AA (aa-dc.org).
