Gertrude “Trudie” W. Robertson (Age 96)
On Thursday, May 12, 2011, of Bowie, MD, formerly of Bethesda, MD. Beloved wife of the late Edmund H. Robertson; mother of Ellen R. Ainsworth and Judith (Julie) R. Modlin; grandmother of Daniel E. Ainsworth, Jack T. Ainsworth and Samuel J. Modlin; mother-in-law of David J. Ainsworth and James E. Modlin. Also survived by two sisters-in-law and many dear nieces and nephews. Trudie was an elementary school teacher in Montgomery County, MD for 33 years. She and her husband Edmund were charter members of the North Bethesda United Methodist Church. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, May 19, 7 to 9 PM and Friday May 20, 12 to 1PM where Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM.
