Margaretann “Maggie” Roberts

Margaretann “Maggie” Roberts, age 70, of Rockville, MD, died peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Montgomery General Hospital surrounded by her family. The beloved wife of Werner Roberts; proud mother of Emily Roberts and Katherine Howarth; Grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren Fiona, Violet, and Connor Howarth; Sister to Susan Gruenberg. Maggie was a well-loved teacher and substitute teacher in Rockville and Derwood area, including Sequoyah Elementary School, who had retired in 2013. A memorial gathering and celebration of life will be held at Collins Funeral Home (Valet Parking), Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Maggie’s name to Manna Food Center or Guiding Eyes for the Blind, two charities that were close to her heart.
