HARRIET ANN REMEIN (nee Kuipers)

Of Bethesda, MD, on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at age 88. Beloved wife of Quentin Remein; mother of Quentin (Mary) Remein II, Kay (John Rosen) Remein and Teresa Remein; grandmother of Matthew Remein, Sarah (Shaun) Stiemsma, and John Remein; great-grandmother of Lucas, Elise, Clark, and Blake Stiemsma; sister of George, Florence , Emma, and the late John and Nelly. Friends may call at Silver Spring Christian Reformed Church, 1501 Arcola Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, September 9, starting at 6 p.m. and attend the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Red Cross. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
