On Thursday, September 10, 2009 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved daughter the late Nellie and James Reed; sister of the late John Reed; sister-in-law of Gladys Jean Nolan; aunt of Lorraine Birks, John and Gregory Reed; great-aunt of Jim and Chris Birks and John Reed. Also survived by many great-great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at Brooke Grove Nursing Home, 18131 Slade School Road, Sandy Spring, MD on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 11:30 a.m., with a reception immediately to follow. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, 7 Mill Brook Road, Wilton, NH 03086 or Feed the Children, PO Box 36, Oklahoma City, OK 73101.
