On Saturday, March 15, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Charlotte; father of Debbi Veney, Michael, Lynne White, Kurt, the late Kenneth Spann, II and the late Ralph, II; brother of George. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Georgia Avenue Baptist Church, 12525 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, 20906 on Friday, March 21, 2014, from 10:30 to 12 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO. Memorial contributions may be made to Georgia Avenue Baptist Church.
