On Sunday, August 14, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Maj. Michael J. Prokopchak; mother of Michele E. Prokopchak, Michael E. Prokopchak, Donna M. Flaherty, and Leonard F. Prokopchak. Also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, four sisters and one brother. Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, August 17, 10:30 to 11 a.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Brady’s Bend, PA on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans or American Cancer Society.
