CARMELA PISTORIO

On Sunday, December 4, 2011 of Silver Spring, MD. Born in Nizza, Italy in 1925. She also lived in London. Carmela was a designer – seamstress. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Pistorio of Hartford, CT, Italy and Silver Spring, MD; step-mother of Mimi Pistorio Waller, Agatha Pope (Steve) and Annette Lentz (Dan); grandmother of Rosemarie Waller (Jake), Dena Wells (George), Samuel Stafford (Michelle), Michael Lentz and Kristine Lentz; and great-grandmother of Joseph, Emily, Jessica Wells and Mason Stafford. Also survived by nephews, Paolo and Nino Briguglio from Milan, Italy and Carbonaro and Grasso nieces and nephews in Maryland. Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 12:30 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
