CHARLES STEPHEN PHALEN (Age 93)

On Monday, May 26, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Anne Howard Phalen; father of Catherine Ann Phalen (Jim Giacomazzi), Charles Stephen Phalen, Jr. (Hildy), James Matthew Phalen (Kathleen), and Dr. Anne Eubanks Phalen (Peter Moser); grandfather of Erin Marissa, Aileen Marie, and Catherine Anne Phalen, Liam Phalen Moser, and Sophia Phalen Moser. He will also be missed by his faithful pup, Lacey. Memorial Mass at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Ave., Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, June 13, 2014, at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to S.O.M.E, 71 O St., NW, Washington, DC 20001.
