November 3, 1934 – January 12, 2019

Joslyn Ranford Peterkin passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019. He was 84 years old. Loving and devoted husband to Joyce, they were married for 56 years and lived in Ellicott City. He was retired having served almost 25 years of service as a security officer for Giant Food. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife Joyce, his son Barry, his daughter/granddaughter Donna, his special best pal and great grandson Aidan, granddaughters Dionne, Diane, and Devenia; 8 great grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He will be remembered and deeply missed by many. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, January 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and at Montgomery Hills Baptist Church, 9727 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, January 23, from 10-11 am where funeral service will be held at 11 am Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
