CHARLES NORWOOD PEEDIN

On October 13, 2018, Charles Norwood Peedin, 88, loving friend, father and grandfather ascended into his heavenly father’s arms. He is preceded in death by his mother, Addie Charlotte White, father, Daniel Ruffin Peedin and his brother, Thomas Ruffin Peedin.

Charles was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War. He was well loved by his many friends. He had a variety of interest, including playing Gin Rummy and watching baseball and football. He was a fan of the Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Redskins.

He is survived by his son, Charles Peedin, and his daughter Charlotte Gravely, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Peedin, Justin Peedin, Rebecca Peedin, Angela Duszak, Anthony Ortega, Madison Moore, Abbie Gravely and numerous great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Friday, October 19, from 7 to 9 pm, where Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, October 20, at 1 pm. Interment and Military Honors at MD Veteran’s Cemetery – Crownsville on Tuesday, October 23, 20187 at 1:45 pm
