NAZARIO KROWEL PEDRIGAL
Nazario Krowel Pedrigal, age of 79, went to be with the Lord in the morning of Friday, April 8, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Born on August 28, 1936, Nazario was the first son of Gregoria Kruel and Heracleo Pedrigal of Bohol, Philippines. Determined and diligent individual, Nazario worked himself through school and graduated with Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. For several years, he worked for an advertising company Admakers and later attained the title of Chief Financial Officer in Accounting Department. Nazario was typically surrounded by his fellow co-workers and long-time friends with whom he celebrated many gatherings and festivities with. A loving and caring man, Nazario ensured nothing but the best for his family. In 1993, his family moved to the United States to be together and lived as a family with the hope of a better future for his children.
Nazario is an avid lover of sports, mainly of bowling, basketball and American football (favoring the Wizards and the Redskins). As part of a bowling team in Philippines, he earned many awards and praises with both colleagues and fellow bowlers, averaging 190 per game and once bowled a perfect score of 300. Among his many interests, he enjoyed playing chess, scrabble and bowling with/ against his family and friends, and watching movies/ television series, football and basketball games.
To his family and friends, Nazario a.k.a. Naroy or Narie, will be remembered as the one to beat at bowling; the person who gave his heart and soul to his cooking (famous for “pansit” and “lumpia”); a great provider who never complains about bills and doing tasks for others; an excellent dancer with a signature stance; a person with good sense of humor and laughs with you; a good listener and an advice-giver; an individual with a good soul; and most of all, a wonderful husband and father and best friend to all. As a Catholic and strong believer of God, Jesus Christ and of the Holy Spirit, Nazario believed that a good person will go to heaven and be with his/ her loved ones. To us his family, friends and loved ones, we truly believe he will be there waiting for us to join him in the future.
Nazario is survived by Lily, Adring, Romy, Nestor, Silvio, Magdalino, Peter and Langlang; his wife Damiana, two sons Ian and Nazario, daughter Diana Anne; his nieces and nephews, all of whom he dearly loved and enjoyed time with.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd, West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) on Sunday, April 17 from 2 to 4 pm and again at 7 to 9 pm. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
